Admission Requirements
High school students who are Indiana residents seeking regular admission to IPFW are expected to have met the requirements for either a Core 40 or Academic Honors Diploma (Indiana Students) or a “college prep” diploma in other states, rank in the top half of their high school graduation class, and score a 1420 or higher on the SAT or 20 or higher on the ACT. For students graduating with a GED, please contact the Admissions Office to set up an appointment with an IPFW Admissions counselor. Students who do not meet these criteria may still be considered for admission based on their academic record and test scores.
IPFW does not use high school GPA as an admission standard.
If you graduated from a high school outside of Indiana, we are looking for a college prepatory academic background for admission.
Transfer students must have an accumulative GPA of 2.0 or above from the last college or university they attended. Students who do not have the required GPA must sit out a fall or spring semester.
